Rosemarie Ammende-Haaf and I have been performing together for the last 10
years and to celebrate a wonderful musical and personal friendship we have decided
to document all the work we have done and which unites the cultures of Germany and Australia.

In late August 2008 we recorded a CD
German Lieder - Australian Art Song
featuring compositions that span three centuries.

Our selections include Lieder from Rosemarie's late husband,
the noted Munich composer Dietrich Ammende,
songs by Franz Schubert
and the Art Songs of two contemporary Australian composers
Phillip Wilcher and George Palmer.
